Wet Picture of the Week Theme

Week one of our Picture of the Week goal (POTW). This week’s theme is Wet. We pick each theme at random, but this theme was very fitting because this week represented the first rain we’ve had since July (which is a record dry spell for the Portland / Vancouver area).

Sprinkler in the Fall — This was actually a picture Leah took at random, but I thought it wasn’t a bad picture, and definitely emphasized the theme 🙂

Mexican Oregano Plant with dew drops — This was my first idea– sprinkle water on my favorite herb plant: Mexican Oregano.

Rain falling on pansies in fall — This was my next idea. I used the sprinkler to create rain on the flowers in our garden.

Raining on pansies and other fall flowers — This is the winner :). Same as the last picture, except with a different shutter speed.
